Choosing the right summer camp for your family member with a disability is an important task to ensure that their summer vacations are enjoyable. Here are three lists of summer camps for kids with disabilities. They are:

1. Family Forum Compiled List 2003

2. City Of Philadelphia Dept. Of Recreation Camps

3. Bernice Kaplan's 2002 Camp Compilation (Philadelphia Dept. of Human Services, Children and Youth Division, Resource Unit)

4.UCP Choosing a summer camp

Another good resource for locating a summer camp is your Supports Coordinator who can help you identify the best camp for your family member with a disability.

The Camp Transportation Bulletin Board - is a new offering where family members can post rides they are offering and/or rides needed to individual camps along with contact information. The parties will be responsible for contacting each other and making their own arrangements.
