Epilepsy Foundation of Southeastern Pennsylvania
The Epilepsy Foundation of Southeastern Pennsylvania is a non-profit, voluntary health organization that provides education, support and advocacy for people with epilepsy and their families. The Foundation also promotes understanding of seizure disorders through a wide variety of programs presented to business, government and school communities, professional audiences and the general public. Office for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing
Provides information, referral and advocacy to adults and children who are deaf or hard of hearing, their relatives, friends, and others. This office advocates for people with hearing loss who are not receiving proper services from government or private agencies. The office also distributes information and answers questions and refers people to appropriate organizations. Stands ready to serve as liaison, to open doors, explain procedures and make referrals. PA Deaf-Blind Project
A four year federal grant (1999-2003) know as the Pennsylvania Deafblind Project, serves families, educators and service providers of children from birth through age 21 who have combined vision and hearing impairments in PA. The mission of Hand in Hand is to build capacity to ensure success for all infants, young children, students and youth who are deafblind, or at risk for deafblindness, in the context of local schools and communities.
